Who we are
Hotintro is operated by SignalsAPI AS, a Norwegian limited company registered in the Register of Business Enterprises (Foretaksregisteret), org. no. 835 512 622, Stenhammerveien 30, 1604 Fredrikstad, Norway. SignalsAPI AS is not registered for VAT. Contact: [email protected]. When you pay for an introduction, your contract is with SignalsAPI AS.
What we sell
Hotintro sells introductions. One introduction connects a recruitment agency with a hiring manager who has asked us in writing for one specialist agency. How it is made depends on where the hiring manager said yes:
- Yes by email: a direct email from us to you both. The hiring manager's name and work email reach you only inside that introduction.
- Yes on LinkedIn: on payment you receive the hiring manager's name, their LinkedIn profile link and their yes reply. We then introduce you on LinkedIn: in a group message with the hiring manager and your consultant, or, if we are not connected with your consultant, by telling the hiring manager your agency's name and the consultant who will contact them, and telling you that they expect your consultant.
We do not sell lists or candidates.
Price and payment
An introduction costs €99, paid once by card through Stripe. No VAT is added. The first agency to complete payment for an introduction receives it, and we deliver it at once on payment (for a yes on LinkedIn: the hiring manager's details at once, and the LinkedIn introduction by hand within 24 hours). Any later payment for the same introduction is refunded in full straight away. There is no subscription and no fee on any placement that follows.
Refunds
We refund the full €99 automatically, to the card used, if within 72 hours of payment:
- the role the hiring manager asked for help with is closed or withdrawn, or
- for a yes by email: the introduction email to the hiring manager bounces, or
- for a yes on LinkedIn: the hiring manager's LinkedIn profile is gone or cannot be messaged.
You can also ask for a refund within 72 hours by writing to [email protected] with a screenshot showing the role is closed. After 72 hours the introduction is final.
What we promise
- Every introduction comes from a hiring manager who replied yes to us in writing.
- Each yes is introduced to one agency only: the first agency in our vetted pool to pay for it. We do not pick the agency on merit.
- The summary you see before paying is a paraphrase in our words: field, seniority, region and salary band. It does not quote the hiring manager and does not show their name, employer, posting date or anything unique to them.
- After payment you receive the hiring manager's name and work email in the introduction email (yes by email), or their name, LinkedIn profile link and yes reply in their own words (yes on LinkedIn).
We do not promise a meeting, a hire or a placement. What happens after the introduction is between you and the hiring manager.
Agency rules
Agencies in the pool agree to:
- reply to the hiring manager within one working day;
- send only candidates they would put their name on;
- use the hiring manager's details (name, work email or LinkedIn profile, and yes reply) only for this introduction, never add them to a marketing list and never pass them on;
- stop contacting the hiring manager as soon as they ask, and delete their details on request;
- follow the email marketing law that applies to them, including CAN-SPAM for US recipients;
- if based outside the UK, the EEA and countries the UK or EU recognise as giving adequate protection, sign standard contractual clauses with us before receiving any introduction to a hiring manager in the UK or the EEA.
Once you receive the hiring manager's details, you are responsible for them as a separate controller under data protection law. We may remove an agency that breaks these rules.
